Undergraduate programs require students to obtain an Above Secondary School Diploma with a C grade or higher.
A Higher secondary school diploma, Bachelor's Degree with at least a C grade overall, job experience, and research experience are required for postgraduate studies.
For medical studies, a Higher Secondary School Diploma with 90 percent passing grades is required, as well as passing grades in each subject such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology with an average of 80 percent. Post Student visa: Full-Time Work Visa (H1B)
Only full-time overseas students are granted student visas (students who register for at least 15 credits or 30 ECTS in a semester). They can apply for the same type of visa as mentioned for undergraduate students.

Post-study work permits (duration, type, what can you do with the help of such visa)
The work permit is initiated in Cyprus by your employer who will fulfill the requirements of inviting the foreign employee according to Cypriot law and then send an invitation letter to the intended employee. Once your application is approved, you will be issued a work permit and then you are eligible to apply for a temporary residence permit.
Types of Work Permits in Cyprus
There are 6 types of work permits ranging from Category A to F. Each is differentiated on the basis of profession, nationality, salary, investments, and other factors.
Category A:
Category A work permit is provided to non-EU nationals if the foreign citizen intends to engage in self-employment in the fields of agriculture, cattle breeding, bird breeding, or fish culture in Cyprus. They will have to demonstrate that they have the means to acquire land and invest CY 250,000. They will also have to demonstrate that their self-employment firm will not have a detrimental impact on Cyprus's economy.
Category B:
Non-EU nationals with the goal of self-employment in Cyprus's mining firms are granted a Category B work visa. They will apply for self-employment authorization from Cyprus's Labor and Immigration Department, demonstrating that they have a capital of CY 200,000 and that their firm will not have a detrimental impact on Cyprus's economy.
Category C:

Category D:

Category E:

Category F:
Members in Category F have total earnings of CY 5,600 at their disposal and are not required to be active in any occupation, trade, or company in Cyprus. The majority of immigrants that fall into this group are retirees and retired professionals. The immigration agency may require the nominee to show proof of additional funds as security.

Permanent Residency options
The Cyprus Permanent Resident Permit allows third-country nationals to come and stay in Cyprus as permanent residents without restrictions, and to enjoy the same rights as Cypriot citizens. It has no expiration date and will not need to be renewed.
You are eligible to apply for a Cyprus Permanent Residence Permit if you have stayed in Cyprus with a Temporary Residence Permit for at least 5 years and have not been out of the country for more than three months
